Who we are:
We are a new community-based organization comprised of residents and small business owners within East Harlem that are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the great neighborhood we work and live in. Representing a melting pot of backgrounds, we aspire to honor the history and spirit of East Harlem while striving to bridge it with the eminent change in our area.
What we do:
By coming together and targeting specific issues within our community, we hope to address the basic problems that so many of us have taken for granted for too long - things like trash and ice on our sidewalks, emergency response times and excessive noise. We are actively volunteering to clear the streets of litter and improve our parks and community spaces. We are collaborating with city agencies to reduce excessive noise and help implement programs for faster emergency response as well.
